Shekhar Dasgupta brings over twenty years of strategic planning and operations experience to Solix Technologies. SUNNYVALE, CALIFORNIA – OCTOBER 2005:In a strategic win that extends the SolixTechnologies product line into the UK and Europe, Solixhas partnered with IBM in a key data subsetting project for Arqiva, one of the UK’s leading broadcast transmission companies. Arqiva chose Solixto execute the separation of its Oracle Applications data from its previous parent NTL Group database.

“After evaluating a range of vendors, Solixexpertise was a clear fit for a project of this complexity,” said Arqiva IT Director Vernon Jeffery. “Solixenabled a smooth implementation and produced a superb result. I expected this phase of the project to be among the most difficult but was very satisfied with the result. I am impressed with the Solixtechnology and their high level of commitment.”

Solixand IBM served as partners in the data separation, an implementation that used SolixARCHIVEjinni as the primary tool for extracting Arqiva data from the parent company to produce a discrete new system for Arqiva. Solixused the data subsetting capabilities of its flagship product to remove NTL Group data. The procedure was successfully completed without impacting the complex environment of existing Oracle Applications modules. The SolixARCHIVEjinni knowledge base, which maintains comprehensive metadata information about Oracle Applications Data Model, ensured a smooth and easy execution. Data Subset programs generated by SolixARCHIVEjinni are validated against the knowledge base to ensure data consistency and integrity of the resulting Oracle Applications subset instance.
